We're a family-orientated club that believes every girl — from her first kick to her final cup final — deserves coaching that brings out her best, in a community that actually cares.
Our philosophy is simple: development before results, and fun runs through everything. We encourage every player to compete and strive — but improving technical ability, confidence, resilience and enjoyment always comes first. Football should be challenging, rewarding, and fun.
That means two things matter equally here: taking the coaching seriously, and never losing sight of why she started playing in the first place.

Professional standards for players of every ability. FA-qualified, DBS-cleared coaches at every session.
Age-appropriate football at every stage — fun and friendship-led when you're small, with a competitive edge as you grow.
Every club needs a solid backline. Ours handles the governance, safeguarding, and finances — so the coaches can focus on what matters: your daughters.
"Whether your daughter is picking up a ball for the first time or has been with us for years, you're joining a club that genuinely cares about every player, on and off the pitch. Welcome to the family."
— Chris Booth, Chairman

Choosing the right club is a big decision. Here's what we believe every parent deserves to know — no hidden surprises.
Our primary goal is to develop confident, happy, and capable young people through football.
While we always encourage players to compete and strive for success, development comes before results. We focus on improving technical ability, game understanding, teamwork, confidence, resilience, and enjoyment.
Football should be challenging, rewarding, and fun.
We believe every player deserves opportunities to develop through match experience.
Playing time is managed fairly and responsibly throughout the season, taking into account attendance, commitment, attitude, player welfare, and the needs of the team.
Our aim is to create an environment where every player feels valued and has opportunities to contribute.
Absolutely. All Academy Juniors coaches and volunteers complete the appropriate FA qualifications, DBS checks, safeguarding training, and first aid requirements.
The safety and wellbeing of every player is our highest priority.
We're committed to being transparent about costs. Player subs are £30 per month, with no joining fee.
That includes a full match kit, training top, and jacket. Beyond subs, parents will receive clear information regarding league fees, tournaments, and any optional events — there are no hidden surprises.
A typical season includes:
We provide advance notice wherever possible so families can plan accordingly.
Yes. Every player starts somewhere.
Our coaches understand that children develop at different rates and arrive with different levels of experience. We work hard to ensure new players feel welcomed, included, supported, and encouraged from day one.
Many of our most successful players started with little or no football experience.
We view parents as important members of our football family. We ask parents to:
Together we create the culture our children experience.
As much or as little as you like — every bit of help matters. Parents get involved by:
No experience is necessary for any of it — just a willingness to muck in.
Football should build confidence, not damage it.
Our coaches take time to understand each player as an individual. We celebrate effort, improvement, teamwork, and personal growth as much as goals and results.
If a player is struggling, we work with both the player and parents to provide support and help them rediscover their enjoyment of the game.
Academy Juniors is focused on long-term development. As players progress through the age groups, they benefit from continued coaching, competitive football, leadership opportunities, and pathways to remain involved in the game.
Our aim is not simply to develop better footballers but to develop confident young people who love the sport.
Because they feel they belong. Families stay because their children are known, valued, encouraged, and supported. Players stay because they enjoy their football, build friendships, improve their skills, and create lasting memories.
We are proud of our football, but we are even prouder of our culture. Success is measured not only by trophies and league tables, but by smiles, confidence, friendships, and the desire to come back every week.
No. She simply needs enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
Our job is to help her become the best version of herself. If that sounds like the environment you're looking for, we'd love to welcome you to the Academy Juniors family.
